Logo file tips for corporate apparel
A clean file is the difference between a crisp logo and a fuzzy one. Before you order corporate apparel with your logo:
- Send the right file. A PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI is preferred. We also accept AI, EPS, PDF and JPG files in RGB or CMYK.
- Size it for the spot. Left-chest logos are typically 3–4" wide, and full-back designs usually run 12–14" wide.
- Keep text readable. Keep every line of text at 8 pt or larger at the final size.
- Simplify for thread. Embroidery cannot stitch gradients or hairline details, so use a clean, flat version of the logo.
- Plan for dark garments. Our DTF transfers include a white underbase, so brand colors stay bright on black and navy.
